Creator of the BeOS OperatingSystem, which is a nice multithreaded ClosedSource OperatingSystem first built for PowerPC hardware and now primarily on IntelCompatible hardware. JeanLouisGassee was an Apple employee, I think head of operations in Europe, before starting BeOS. Gassee has now been appointed as CEO of PalmSource, the company that acquired Be Inc.
